2008 reflections

Where did 2008 go?! If I find it I will let you know. I was trying to reflect on all that happened this year. I did 190 post this year. My end of the year post last year...you should read it. It's kinda entertaining to go along with this post. HERE!!!!

*The things I've learned
-God's timing is really 100% absolutely perfect. No seriously it is....you might think you are ready for something....but really you aren't. God knows when you are. Just accept it, it will make your life a whole lot easier.
-Good behavior can come naturally when needed.
-Getting up at 5:00am on your last full day with your team and picking grass out of the middle of sidewalks on a random street in London....had a good lesson to it.

The year was good, although it went fast. It was a good learning year and very accomplishing. I am looking forward to what God is gonna bring in 2009!

It's beginning.....

to look a lot like CHRISTMAS! =D

The weather is cold, The Christmas tree is up and the countdown is on! However the Christmas presents are still not bought. *sigh* I should really work on that.

Yesterday was Timothy's birthday and so today I took him out to lunch. We went to Fazoli's in Laffy....He had only been there once and it sounded good to him. So that's where we went. He liked it. I love Fazoli's. I tried something new today too and so that was eXciting!! =D

Scrapbooks, pictures and paper galore. It's covering a table in my room where I am working on completely my EuroQuest scrapbookS. I have one done and am working on the second one. I am now 3 weeks into my trip and have more pictures for 3 weeks then I know what to do with! =D But I am enjoying it and replaying the pictures in my mind like a movie! Although it's making me miss my EQ family all that much more. To have just a day with my whole team would be the best Christmas gift this year. Sadly that won't be happening and going to Minnisotta to see some of them isn't gonna happen either. Oh well...I guess there is always facebook. *sigh*

However I am off to bed. night!

I <3 CHRISTmas!!

I love CHRISTmas...I love the joy it brings...the families it brings together. It makes me happy...I love CHRISTmas time! I love going to my home church at CHRISTmas too. It always look so CHRISTmasy! =D I actually went to Grace yesterday too...for the first time in 3 months. I have been going with my sister to her church. So it was different. I got asked to do something for fire side CHRISTmas. Which I am eXcited about. I love that service. Lots of instruments played and different things read, we sing CHRISTmas songs and I love it. This will be the first year I won't be playing an instrument. I was asked to read something. Which is fine!! =D

My parents and little brothers are back...which ya know. It happens. The house isn't nice and quiet anymore. But yeah.....they brought me back stuff from Hershey's Chocolate world! =D Which is cool!

However...my baby girl is crying...well okay Katrina's baby girl!! ;) So I should go play with her. She is so fun!!!

Kim fails

So I told Kim she needs to update her blog and she told me to mark it down as something she fails at. So here ya go. Except for really Kim is a beautiful, lovely, amaZing person. I love her a lot and I can't wait to see her again. She is a lovely advice giver and listens to me complain a lot!! She is just amaZing. SO really....give her some slack on her lack of posting....because she is to amaZing to get mad at!! =D

TGIF!

I love Friday...do you know why?!? Well I am gonna tell you. It means I get to sleep in all of TWICE. OH MAN!!! I am eXctied! *sigh* Usually I don't have to work Saturday nights...however tomorrow is different. The first Saturday night I have worked in months. It's alright...I guess. I mean I get to work with Ashley....hopefully....and I haven't seen her for a few weeks....which makes me very sad...cause well she is kinda my buddy.

So Kendra has spent the night the past two nights. We were gonna wait for tonight since she has school and I have work but she wanted to do it Wednesday night. Since she doesn't like being at her house with her brothers and I didn't mind having someone here. It worked out pretty well. It was fun. Last night we rented "sisterhood of the traveling pants 2"! Which was fun. Although it took everything I had to stay awake. bleh. I am so tired. Its been a long week of working.

But I think I am gonna so watch a movie before going to work in a bit!

rest stop

Yesterday working 10 hours and again today doing the same. I am taking a rest stop. Which concludes of eating breakfast at 10:30.
Tuesday and Wednesday I subbed for Kiddie Korner at the YMCA. So after SACC I went straight there. Tuesday...going to Kristi's office till 5:00, then home. Yesterday I went from SACC (6am-8am) to Kiddie Korner (8am-1pm) then to Dairy Queen (1pm-5pm) to go pick up my friend hope, then home to shower and eat...then youth group then bringing Kendra home with me...we watched a movie and fell asleep. When hope and I left for youth group she said "you are never home are you?!?" I looked at her and said "what are you talking about..I am home right now." She said...we have been here for a hour and you are leaving again. (Welcome to my world)

Today there was a two hour delay for school....which meant I had to stay at work till 10am rather then 8am. I felt bad cause Kendra was with me and she had to sit there till 10. But she said she didn't mind. Then I brought Kendra to school where yes we were on time. Then came home to eat breakfast. Then I get to go to work for six hours.....go babysit Cody and Katie and then maybe a movie tonight?!?

Speaking of which....I gotta go.....work. byes!

yeah I know...all I did was fill you in on my scheduale. But I need to go.....more later.

December?!?

Having a hard time believing its December.....that means...the next time it's the first of a month. It will be 2009!! OH MAN!
Arkansas was good....the weather was nice. We got home Saturday night. After a very long car ride.
The house is quiet....
I jumped right back into work. With the Ymca at 6:00am this morning and Dairy Queen in a hour. Can I say I missed it?!?! I miss the paycheck. However I did get paid today and that was nice! =D
I am working on clearing up my acne like always and realized that I only have a little bit of acne. Everything that I thought was acne was scars from it. =( So I bought this scar remover stuff so I am gonna try to clear that up to. I guess I didn't realize how bad it really was.
I really don't know what else to say. So I am gonna go to something productive maybe...before work! Have a fantabulous day!
